TLC Makes Strategic Move on Pete Rose Hits and Mrs. Reality Show

TLC announced it will temporarily pulling the “Pete Rose: Hits & Mrs.” finale from its current lineup in order to air them at a time they feel is more advantageous for the show and for the shows viewers.

Despite all of the misinformation online about the shows status, TLC publicist Shannon Martin insists the show has not been canceled. TLC will not make any assessments on the shows status until after the last two episodes (of six) air in late February or March, which are more in line with the baseball exhibition season.

“They pulled the last two episodes to save them to air during spring training, when baseball is more top of mind. Until those two episodes air, we won’t make a decision on renewing it,” says Martin, TLC senior publicity director.

Kiana Kim recently opened up to discuss her take on the new series she stars in with her fiancé Pete Rose. She took the opportunity to discuss a variety of factors that make the show and her relationship with Pete interesting and funny. ”It’s about our relationship and the blending of our families. We have a little bit of age difference, obviously, and different cultures. I come from a very traditional Korean family, and Pete is American, so it’s really funny. We’re such an unlikely couple. We’ve got young children with his older children. So it’s chaotic, but it works.”

Doing the show seemed like a great idea to Kiana. She really feels like it will give her the chance to show people that there is a lot more to Kiana Kim than most people realize especially after her success as a model and entrepreneur. As part of the media tour for the new upcoming reality show on TLC, Kiana appeared on the Greta Van Susteren Show on CNN last night. The show segment was shot live from Kiana and Pete’s home. Kiana and Pete were very gracious host as they allowed the world into their home to speak with them about the upcoming show.
